“La Malcontenta e il Lupo" makes environmental conservation and scientific research its main missions.

Respect
for the ecosystems in which the Oasis is located favours the presence of wildlife and the quality of
organic products grown on the estate.
The guests of "La Malcontenta e il Lupo" can stay in stone farmhouses dating back to
the early 19th century, immersed in a protected area, now a WWF Oasis.

Since 2023, the area has been a WWF Oasis.

The natural area, now a WWF affiliated Oasis, is a protected site that includes several habitats of naturalistic value. It is home to a wide variety of environments rich in biodiversity: typical wetland environments, naturally evolving forests, climatic inversion phenomena, and ecosystems hosting flora and fauna of considerable interest, including the abundant presence of wild orchids.
