The WWF Oasis La Malcontenta e il Lupo has received an important award for its commitment to green building and the use of traditional materials for construction and renovation techniques in the Protected Area.

ASviS awarded La Malcontenta and il Lupo the Certificate of good territorial practice for a more sustainable Italy 2024, for the initiative Practice of traditional building techniques.

The document “The good practices of the territories 2024/2025”, the volume that collects all the files of the good practices selected by the Commission and a cross-sectional analysis that returns the picture of an active and virtuous Italy, often little visible, was presented on 13 May in Venice, as part of the Festival of Sustainable Development 2025, during the event “Cities and heritage in the face of climate crisis”. The event is part of the Public Program Gens of the 19th International Architecture Exhibition of the Venice Biennale.

ASviS is the Italian Alliance for Sustainable Development, was born on 3 February 2016 to raise awareness of the importance of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and to mobilise Italian society, economic and social actors and institutions to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals.

I would therefore like to take this opportunity to thank all those who collaborated on this venture, in particular the construction company Piero Spadini and Luca Spadini, the company Il Casale, surveyor Carlo Pizzichini and La Banca della Calce.
