ANIMALIA will consist of two moments: "Actors in the Oasis" and the talk on Wildlife by Francesca Vercillo, head of WildUmbria, the regional Wildlife Rescue Centre.

The WWF Oasis opens up to actors. Through acting in its many forms and techniques, we will talk about biodiversity and fauna.

In this first appointment of "Actors in the Oasis" it will be possible to watch "

WILD ANIMAL RECOVERY CENTRE

The talk will discuss the activities of the rescue centre and how to behave if a citizen encounters an injured or distressed wild animal.

ENVIRONMENT

The WWF Oasis is a protected area that includes various habitats of naturalistic value. It is home to a wide variety of environments rich in biodiversity: typical wetland environments, naturally evolving forests, climatic inversion phenomena, ecosystems that host flora and fauna of considerable interest, including the abundant presence of wild orchids.

IN EVIDENZA

To participate it is necessary to book using the BOOKING button that links to the WWF website.
Access to the building where the course will be held requires stairs.
In the entire nature reserve area it is not possible to introduce dogs (even on a leash) or other pets.

WildUmbria

We are an association founded in 2015 by a group of young enthusiasts with extensive professional experience in zoology and veterinary medicine.

Our mission is to promote environmental and wildlife management in Umbria, collaborating with public bodies, private individuals, citizens and other associations.

Since 2017 we have been granted by the Region of Umbria, the service of recovering injured wildlife or wildlife in difficulty on the entire regional territory, with 24H on call, seven days a week.

Isola di Confine

Teatro Laboratorio Isola di Confine is directed by Valerio Apice and Giulia Castellani. It is based in Umbria and carries out its activities locally and nationally.

Valerio Apice is an actor, author, director, poet and theatre educator. Since 1997 he has been working on the mask of Pulcinella, between tradition and innovation.

Giulia Castellani is an actress and theatre educator. She has a PhD in performing arts disciplines and a degree in Educational Sciences.

HOW TO GET THERE

If you are coming from the north or south, take the Ponterio exit off the E-45 state road, then continue in the direction of Orvieto (SS448), and turn following the signs for Porchiano - Asproli.

If your navigator tries to lead you onto gravel or dirt roads, do not take them. Always and only follow the main paved road and the road signs indicating Porchiano and Asproli.
